About university programs in Slovenia
The vast majority of Slovenian undergraduate programs and master programs in Slovenia are available at the following universities:
- University of Ljubljana
- University of Maribor
- University of Primorska
- University of Nova Gorica
- University of Novo Mesto
- New University (Law program and Public Administration program)
- 10 Private Higher Education Institutions
In Slovenia you can study everything from design, visual arts and economics to computer science and IT or nursing.
In the academic year 2024/2025 11 study programs will be conducted in English and the rest of the programs will be in Slovenian.
You can also study part-time or full-time, depending on the program.
The tuition / prices of each program range from 1800 € per year to 15000 € per year.
Full-time courses are free for all Slovenians, citizens of the EU and citizens of Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina (if they don’t already have a university education). For part-time programs all applicants must pay the full price.
